Socktober
By Liam Ferguson
The 5th graders of Glenridge Elementary School participated in Socktober Which is where the people who participate help the homeless with fundraisers or sock donations so they can have a place to stay.
The 5th grade students of Glenridge Elementary School made some events to support Socktober. The First event was take shoes off in class day, so the participants had to pay a dollar to take shoes off, they raised $280 dollars. The next event was to dress wacky for wacky Wednesday (participants also had to pay a dollar). The final event will take place on Friday the 28th, it is Pj Day!!! You can also bring a additional dollar for a stuffed animal!!! All these took and will take place at their school!!! The principal of the school agreed to let the students do these activities. They raised over $900 dollars. All of the participants were excited to help the homeless get food and homes ( in a Homeless shelter)
I like how you put a lot of detail
