Glenridge Elementary students paid a dollar to bring a stuffed animal to school. Every student was allowed to bring a stuffed animal or blanket. The reason Glenridge students had a chance to bring there plushie to school in the first place was because Glenridge 5th graders hosted a fundraiser for Lift for Life academy.
Big or small stuffys everyone loved bringing there plushies too school, even better it was for a great cause.

New Life By Claudia 100 WC
This was going to be a new life. No turning back now. Let’s go! As we slowly walked through the wall a bright light shined on my face. Only one word could describe what I was seeing “~Magnificent”. All of a sudden when I touched my face I felt warm streams of tears running down my face and neck. “When we find Grandmother let’s go out to eat” Kai giggled. As we got into a bubble car and started to drive off I couldn't help but look outside of the bubble. All the circle buildings floating it just so unordinary.

100WC By Claudia G.
As I took a beautiful photo of a waterfall watching it glisten in the sunlight. moving my eyes away from the camera I saw a tall furry brown figure swiftly blot thou the tall pine trees upon a hill. I just had to run after it. As I slowly climbed up the rocks I started to lose my footing soon i hit the ground. The rocks were hard and wet when i hit the ground. I never ended up seeing what that strange figure was. I am a bit worried just was it watching me?

At my Magics school everyone is so great at magics then there’s me. During soccer battles I can’t get the ball so i’m told to sit on the side-lines till the lower magics group has their turn. The groups go from A-F I’m in D. In the game you have the ball but with others Magics top over yours. Whoever has the best skill in magics is the one with most control. You try to get the ball in the goal. But groups E,F, don’t conpet. That leaves my group so that is why I am always last.

Symphony Field trip
February 21, 2017
Glenridge 5th grade went on a field trip to the St.Louis symphony.
There was an enjoyable skit at the start then moved more to classical music.
The performance was good but let's see other opinions “It was great but it almost was put to sleep by the beautiful music ”-Claudia. The experience was put together by Glenridge teachers and principal. The kids at Glenridge seemed to enjoy it. I hope they do it again soon!

Goodbye Siqi
On January 14
Class of 5B was saying goodbye to their loved friend Siqi When news broke out that Siqi was officially moving back to her home country the class derided the day to come. The last day they would see Siqi. “The unforgettable memories I made with Siqi are my favorite. I can’t even think about not having her here. I still to this day have the mermaid drawing that she drew in 4th grade” said Claudia.
Know their Kind, sweet,Adorable Friend was leaving they and their amazing teacher who came up with the idea that they would throw a surprise party! They had it all planned out. Siqi would go down to Kindergarten and say goodbye
When the class would be setting up and hiding then Siqi would walk back in the room and everyone would yell SURPRISE!!!!!!!! They were prepared had everything ready for the big day. The party was great 5B enjoyed every moment they had left with Siqi before she moved.
Note: We love you Siqi everyone talks about how much we miss you. You are a cheerful happy person. A piece of you was left back here in 5B and we cherish it with all of are hearts. I hope everything is doing great in China. Love you!

News Story by Claudia
Practically Dead
Two girls were found practically dead near Glenridge Elementary School the girls names were Claudia and Madeira they were sore and hot from walking to long. The day was September 11th heat was high and the both girls were low. The girl were heading to their school's ice cream party. They had planned on driving but were told to walk because of the art fair’s large traffic. When they arrived they were disappointed to see that what was supposed to be an ice cream party it showed that it was a Snow cone party still the girls were happy but they were let down that they didn't have ice cream. We had to ask some people about their experience so “Ceci were you disappointed when you heard that there was no ice cream” Ceci: yes because I was looking forward to ice cream but snow cones are fine too”. I wonder why there was no ice cream do you? -Claudia
