This year the teachers decided to end the year with a bang! So that means that every day all three 5th grade classroom will have a V.I.P! The way to be V.I.P is your balloon has to get popt. But for the first V.I.P we just picked a stick for who would pop the first balloon. Are first V.I.P was Macy! So what happens when your V.I.P is you get special treatment like you get to sit where ever you want and you get a poster where your class says what they like about you. Then you take a picture with your poster at the end of the day. I ask Madeline what she thought of the V.I.P.S and she said I was so excited to hear that we get to V.I.P.S! I have really enjoyed the V.I.P.S! I can't wait when I am V.I.P.!

She had came on a very special the 5th graders were going on a field trip to the Saint Louis Symphony. They learned about Beethoven then they went back to school. Over the course of the week Riley met all of the teachers and learned all of her new classmates names and was caught up on all of the classes. Today she is doing well and has caught up with the rest of the class. 5B is looking forward to their next new classmate and will give them the same warming welcome.

Hoops For Heart By Riley
Hoops For Heart
Hoops for heart is very similar to jump Rope for heart. What happens is kids come Into P.E. and get into groups. The two kids are rebounding why the other person is shooting! Hoops for heart is a great and fun way to raise money!
A Lot of people like Hoops for heart because it had to do with basketball. Ava said “ I liked that it because I love basketball”. The money Glenridge raised goes to heart research. The way we raise money you get a form sent home and you have your parents fill it out. On the form there is a part that says how much money will you give for each basket your child makes. So really it depends on how many baskets you make.
