The black history assembly was great because Rhadi got to celebrate his people.and it was great how he got to meet a author ,get a book signed and get a thank you from a famous black author but he did get scared because he stayed up there longer than he thought.
So at his school we had a black history celebration and he got a part at the last second.So when he practiced he practiced to be as close to perfect.so when it became time to do it he was doing good.
he didn't completely mess up on any words.he stumbled but nobody noticed.
so when he introduced him,he said thank you and Rhadi started to walk off but he said here and he gave me the book introduced himself gave a speech and started reading the book and had Rhadi flip the pages and he was scared at first but he got used to it.
until Mr. Howard got to the middle and he said something wrong.so
Rhadi thought did he get the page wrong or did he just mess up.so he was just worried. Rhadi had to look back in the book.and some kids were laughing at him.but when they got the pages back they were good.and after he said thank you.
and he signed Rhadi's book and he was so happy.and that was his first signing so it was so fun how he got to celebrate black history month.
